Hello! My name is Berek Bigos and I’m a recent graduate from Chapman University where I received a BFA in Game Development and Creative Writing. If I’m not spending my time making video games I’m either playing them or indulging in my comic book obsession.

My love of gaming started at a young age with movie tie-in games on Gameboy and quickly grew to include any console or game I could get my hands on. As I got older, that obsession only increased and I wanted to learn how to create fantastical worlds for others to fall in love with and escape into. I dove into the creation process behind the artform, researching developer interviews, pouring over concept art books, and listening to GDC talks.

I studied Game Development in college, where I discovered my love for the Level Design field as it allowed me to bring my ideas to life in a virtual space and even tell stories of my own through the environment. In my free time I continued to enhance my skills more by remaking some of my favorite multiplayer maps and joining larger scale projects with my peers (one of which was the award-winning game, Sect-Machina, which we also released on Steam).

Now, as I step into my career, my dream is to land a role that allows me to keep building new worlds that will one day inspire others the way that games inspired me as a kid.
